Urban Planner

Do you ever feel as though the land around you isn’t being properly utilized? If so, this may be a viable career path for you. As an urban planner, you’ll get to—as the job title suggests—develop plans for the use of land. You can create new gathering places for communities or rejuvenate existing facilities and areas just the same. On top of that, the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 13% job growth between 2016 and 2026.

Sustainability Consultant

As climate change becomes more pronounced, businesses big and small are taking steps to lessen their own waste. The problem is a lot of them don’t know where to begin. That’s where sustainability consultants come in. Oh, and there’s also the opportunity to travel all over the country (the world even) to enlighten the masses of the power and benefits of going green.

This is no job for a slouch.
